I joined this group as a Postdoctoral fellow in May 2018. I graduated from Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Mohali (IISERM), India. During my PhD, I studied the role of supramolecular synthons comprising C-H···F hydrogen bonds in crystal engineering using X-ray crystallography as a tool.

I am currently working on superhydrophobicity, which is a phenomenon of extreme water- repellency by a surface. Superhydrophobicity can be seen in lotus leaves, on the surface of which water drops just roll-off without wetting it and therefore this phenomenon is also termed as "Lotus effect". This effect arises from the special double-structured (micro and nano) features on the leaf surface. I am trying to develop a superhydrophobic coating on a substrate, drawing inspiration from nature.
